Home is an important word to me
I have learned through the years to make many different houses a home for my family. I am a wife of 25 years to my husband, Lange, and a mom to five children ranging in age from 21 to 4. Our youngest came to us via foster care at the age of 10 months. We learned soon after he joined us that he had spent the majority of his first year of life homeless. There are many more heartbreaking details about that first year, but I think the hardest was to think he didn’t have a home! The place that you lay your head at night is much more than an address. It is the center of the community in which you live, the friendships you will form and the memories that you will carry with you throughout your lifetime. The people that live in my neighborhood are more than just faces. They are some of my dearest friends. We do life together. I would love nothing more than to find that niche for you.
Real estate has always been a passion
I have a natural eye for design and have no trouble envisioning a completed space. I recently furnished a five-bedroom home for a family top to bottom and completed the entire process under budget in three months. I am extremely self-motivated and have a hard time stopping until my job is complete. In fact, I found the last three homes that we have lived in (even though we utilized the help of a realtor). I would love to help you prepare your home to make it marketable and easy to sell. Organization and administration come naturally to me. In a home with seven people, this is a must. We de-clutter on a regular basis. We sold our last house in a day, and we were not in a hot market at the time. Because these skills come naturally to me, I guarantee to make the buying and selling process as quick and simple as possible.
Family~Community~Colorado
My family is very close – even though we have quite the age range for children. Our favorite adventures include hiking a new trail and finding the best local coffee shop in every town we explore. We love trying new, authentic food and meeting people from every walk of life. Our middle child, Jonathan, has Down syndrome, and he has never met a stranger. Because of his example, we all love BIG and laugh loudly and often. We are quick to say that he has taught us much more about life than we will ever teach him.
I have always said I am more of a mountain girl than beach, so living in Colorado is a dream for me. No need to ask why so many choose this part of the world to call home. Whether you are looking for community, adventure or a place to get away from the cares of the day, I would love to hear your story and help you begin your journey “home.”
